Survey checklist
- DeedA copy of the current deed, or the deed you are buying under.
- Legal descriptionLot and block, or the survey name and abstract number with the metes and bounds.
- Title commitment / GF numberIf you are closing, the title commitment and the GF (file) number from the title company.
- Lender requirementsAny survey requirements from your lender, including ALTA/NSPS Table A items if requested.
- Elevation certificateLet us know whether you or your lender need an elevation certificate for flood insurance.
- Access and gate informationGate codes, locks, animals, contact on site and anything crews should know before arriving.
- Purpose of the surveyBuying, refinancing, building, fencing, splitting land, permitting or construction.
